This policy covers the website diskdetox.de. The app DiskDetox has its own app privacy policy. The legally binding version of this policy is the German one.
In short
- This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking, analytics or advertising services.
- No third-party content is loaded: images and the video are on our own server, and fonts come from your own device.
- Visiting the site only creates the server log data needed to deliver it.
Controller
The provider named in the legal notice (Impressum) is responsible for data processing on this website. Contact: extremetech24@gmail.com.
Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The server is located in India. On every visit the server automatically processes:
- your IP address,
- the date and time of access,
- the page requested and the amount of data transferred,
- the referrer (the previous page), browser type and operating system.
This data is technically required to deliver the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Log data is kept by the host only for a limited time and is not combined with other data.
A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host. As the server is outside the EU, transfers are based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
Links to the Microsoft Store
The download buttons link to the Microsoft Store. Only when you click one are you taken to Microsoft, whose privacy policy then applies. The link contains a campaign tag (for example cid=diskdetoxde-en-home) so we can see in Microsoft Partner Center which page led to an install. We receive no personal data through it.
Language selection
If your browser's language isn't German, the server sends you to the English version of a page. It uses the language setting your browser sends with every request and stores nothing.
Contacting us by email
If you email us, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they're no longer needed and no legal retention period applies.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Contact us at the email address above.
You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state where you live.
