Who we are
Aarvion is an independent software studio based in India. Besides DiskDetox for Windows, Aarvion publishes Android apps on Google Play. More about the studio is on aarvion.co.in, and the legal details are in the legal notice (Impressum).
What the guides rely on
- The Windows steps follow Microsoft's documentation on Microsoft Learn and Microsoft Support. Each guide links the page it relies on.
- Details about other services such as Google Photos, OneDrive or Android link to those providers' help pages.
- DiskDetox features are described as they are in the current version on the Microsoft Store. The screenshots come from the app on a demo PC; the paths show a sample user.
- We give numbers only with a source, such as the Google Keyword Planner search figures on the CCleaner alternative page. Without a source, we leave them out.
Independence
DiskDetox is our own product, and the comparison pages say so at the top. We receive no money for mentioning other programs. The site has no affiliate links and no ads. In the guides, Windows' built-in tools come before DiskDetox, even where they work without our app.
Updates and corrections
Every guide shows the date it was last updated. When Microsoft renames a menu or a linked source changes, we update the guide and its date.
